Deuce McGuire graduated from Queen of Martyrs in 2018 and Marist High School in 2022.

He is currently a Junior at Northwestern University majoring in Business. Deuce earned all Big Ten Academic Honors as a member of the Northwestern University Football Program.

What was your favorite memories of Queen of Martyrs?

I loved playing sports with my friends: basketball, volleyball, and football. I especially remember how much I loved riding my bike to and from football practice every fall.

My favorite single moment was when QM football won the JV and Varsity Championships in 2013 and we hosted the trophies over our heads.

What was your favorite subject?

Math.

Who was your favorite teacher?

Mrs. Torano was my 3rd grade teacher and I remember how she made learning fun. I was excited to go to school every day.

What made Queen of Martyrs such a special place for you?

I loved the tight-knit, family environment. My teachers really cared about us and invested their time in helping us excel. QM was a great experience and helped prepare me high school and beyond. Go Wildcats!
