What was your favorite memories of Queen of Martyrs?

I loved gym with Ms. Cronin. My favorite was playing floor hockey and a game called Cronin's Castle. Ms. Cronin always made gym so much fun.

What sports did you play while at Queen of Martyrs?

I played football, soccer, and basketball. I remember playing basketball in particular because my dad was the coach. He was always a tough coach.

What made you join the Navy?

After graduating from Queen of Martyrs and Br. Rice, I attended Marquette University and I wasn't too sure what I wanted to do for a career. I decided to join the NROTC and became a Weapons System Officer. As a Weapons System Officer, I fly in the back seat of a EA-18G and control the plane's jamming systems and disrupt surface to air missiles as part of the plane's defenses.

What experiences at Queen of Martyrs made in impact on your life?

I had the opportunity to go to Harlem, Kentucky four different times through Youth Ministry. These experiences helped me learn about service to others and leadership. I would encourage QM students to get involved in Youth Ministry and attend future trips to Harlem. It is a great experience.
