What were your favorite memories of Queen of Martyrs?
I made so many lifelong friends at QM and have such great memories. I especially remember enjoying all of our class field trips, talent shows, pack the house games, dances, grandparent days, and our 8th grade blanket day. We had a lot of fun in 8th grade.
What sports did you play while at Queen of Martyrs?
I played volleyball, soccer, and basketball. We had good teams and great coaches. I have always been competitive so being an athlete came natural and being involved at QM in so many sports and activities definitely prepared me to play soccer for four years at Mother McAuley. I also participated in Irish Dance until 8th grade.
Who are the teachers that you remember best from QM?
I really remember my junior high teachers best, especially Mrs. Biszewski, Mrs, Pekelnicky, and Mrs. Creevy. I always felt very supported by my teachers. They were very caring, helpful, passionate about what they taught, and it was clear they wanted us to succeed.
What experiences at Queen of Martyrs made in impact on your life?
I loved my classes and really enjoyed school, especially science. During 8th grade, I took high school math at Mother McAuley and helped prepare me to take tons of AP courses during high school. My favorite were the AP science courses.
